Two Lewisham Scout troops combined to make up numbers for a fantastic Mendip Caving Weekend recently with the County Caving Team. Most were Novices who did four Caves & completed the paperwork on the Saturday evening to gain their Caver’s Badges.

Four others who had previously done the Badge enjoyed the chance to gain more experience & were given the chance to explore Singing River Mine after descending the 33ft Entrance shaft we found the very dry lake chamber & the way through to the West series.

On Sunday everyone headed to Priddy to enjoy Swildons Hole for an exciting Wet trip.
